Magazine reader

In 2000, Posticum opened a magazine reader as one of its basic services. The periodicals that appeared at that time created an intelligentsia, a promise of an intellectual future. The reading room operated for a few years, and then closed due to lack of interest due to the Internet.

Have we closed this chapter? So far it seemed. Now we want to start a magazine, which is both a collection of original writings and a review of web pages.

Its editor, Gyula Zsugan G. Hidber, is looking for articles, essays, and diary entries that help to navigate and provide orientation for today's people.

And the reader? The reader can read the contents for free. And what he likes, he can throw in a basket. If the basket is full, you have the option to order the articles you have collected in print from Posticum. Each issue of the magazine published in this way is unique: one copy is added to the magazine reader's stock, the rest - one, two, three or more copies - the reader puts on his own shelf or can give away to friends.

  • There was a spring festival at the Oradea Philharmonic
    – below, about two of these concerts – written by Gábor Tóth The two-week concert series (this year, if I counted correctly, 5 concerts), i.e. the Spring Festival, is now a tradition here in Oradea, and below about the details. I missed the chamber and chamber music concerts this year, but I was there on the two Thursdays, and I would like to thank a very kind colleague who invited me, because these days “newcomers” (like MV, for example) cannot just go… Read more: Tavaszi fesztivál volt a nagyváradi filharmóniában
  • It was a jazz weekend at Posticum
Written by Gábor Tóth Location: Nagyvárad, Posticum Date: March 14–15, 2025. Unfortunately, I only had time to get to jazz on the 14th, but on the 15th it was already blues, so that was probably the real freedom, I think, since the essence of blues is to break out of the trap, and so is jazz. So I can report on the two groups on the 14th, Little G Weevil was left out for prosaic self-organization reasons. Performers on the evening of the 14th: Cristi Copaciu Quartet (let's say without Cristi Copaciu)… Read more: Jazz-hétvége volt a Posticumban
